The Hadley & District Orpheus Male Choir was formed in 1901 and has continued to entertain with a wide ranging repertoire at churches, chapels, concert halls old folks homes and shopping malls, sometimes for its own funds, but more often for various charities. It has won the Welsh Eisteddfod and recently the Minsterley Eisteddfod, it enjoys competitive singing.
Our musical director Howard Renwick retires in June after serving 10 years,there are 40 members in the choir ,who rehearse every monday night at the choir's HQ in Hadley, Telford. Shropshire.

An updated trawl for American and Scottish choirs in particular has brought the total number of choirs up to 1,100. It is hoped to add a few hundred more soon, with Italy, the Netherlands, Norway and Switzerland next on the list!

Another batch of choirs have been added, mostly Scandinavian, which has brought the total number of choirs listed on malevoicechoir.net over the 1,000 mark.
Just over 100 German choirs have been added to the site, along with a few others, taking the total number of choirs on the site over 900.
The pages showing choir details have been revamped. There is a new method of e-mailing choirs, which will help reduce the possibility of choir contacts getting excess spam, and a slightly new look. To celebrate, a load of new choirs have been added, bringing the total number on the site over 800!
Unfortunately, the date of the shop's opening has had to be put back. The shop will now open some time before the end of July.
A large addition of American, Russian and Swiss choirs to the site has seen the total number of choirs on the site fly pass 700.
The listings are being updated at the moment, with all UK entries being checked, and another tranche of American choirs being added.
